One: According to the use,RORO Container can be divided into the following two types
(1) Universal housing container, also known as dry cargo container or general cargo container, refers to a fully enclosed container with a rigid roof, side walls, end walls and wall bottom, and a door on at least one end wall. Universal Containers are suitable for shipping most general cargo.
(2) Special-purpose RORO Container refer to general or cargo containers that have a common structure for the convenience of loading and unloading goods without passing through the end door, or for special purposes such as ventilation, including ventilated containers, open-top containers, bench containers and channel containers.
Two: According to different structures, it is divided into the following four types
(1) Inner column House Container
Its side column or end column is located in the side wall or end wall. The advantage is that the surface is smooth, it is not easy to be damaged by oblique external force, and it is convenient to print marks. Good, and can reduce the wet damage rate of the goods, when repairing and replacing the outer panel, the inner lining of the box does not need to be removed.
(2) Outer column House Container
Its side column or end column is outside the side wall or end wall, so when it is subjected to external force, the outer panel is not easy to damage, and sometimes the inner lining plate can be omitted.
(3) Foldable House Container
Its main parts (referring to the side wall, end wall and box top) can be easily folded or divided. It can be conveniently reassembled when used again. The advantage is that it can reduce the volume of the box during recovery and storage, and improve the economic efficiency of transportation. However, since the main components are connected by hinges, their strength is affected.
(4) Thin shell housing container
Different from the general house container structure (the frame bears the load, and the outer plate of the box and the frame are riveted or welded together), all components form a rigid body, which is similar to the aircraft structure. The advantage is that it is light in weight, and its whole body can withstand the generated torque without causing permanent deformation, but the process requirements are high.
